My hopes are so high

That your kiss could kill me

So won't you kill me

So I can die happy?

And fall back to earth with a smile on my face

And the knowledge that

No one will cry

They will only smile

Not for my death

But for how I died

And that I did not die in vain

That the smile they once knew

Would remain on my lifeless lips

And be forever recorded

In the ending of my book of life

So I thank you for this peaceful end

We were both happy

I saw you smile

As you shead a single tear

Over my grave

Then you and I walked

Hand in hand

Off to a happier place

Where hopes are high

And love is sweet
