" What are you doing with your life Darren", his mother said. "Can't you see that what you're doing is only gonna ruin your life. I don't want to see you go to jail or even worse dead. I really care about you and I don't want to see you go. Darren are you listening to me!"

"What do you want from ne mom! I already told you that i will never amount to anything. Why are you trying to get me to stop living the way I live. Living like a gangsta and being on the streets are the only things that i know how to do. I don't want to change and nothing and noboby is going to change me! You hear me mom, nothing".

"But Darren, those aren't the only things that you have to do to live your life. Don't you know theres more to life than gangstas and streets. There are plenty of things you can do to turn your life arond and thats what I want you to do. I want you to live a life that you would be proud of".

"That's just it mom, I don't want a different life. I'm used to the one I have. I'm proud of what I do and I'm never gonna change".
