||There are times at which I creep myself out.
One of them being the other day at school when I started writing this. Oy dear.||
I'm alive.
I can think.
I can feel.
The boy remained still, simply trying to figure out the world around him.
Where am I?
Who am I?
Now the questions. Sitting up, the boy groaned, burying his head in his hands and finding his fingers tangled in rather long hair.
I am me.
Well, that was a satisfying answer, if there ever was any...
My name is Soku.
Now, wherever did that come from?
The boy pulled his hands away from his face to stare at them with curiosity. Somehow, he knew they were pale - and feminine. And that he had always been made fun of because of the fact.
Looking down, he saw black. How he knew the color, how he knew that the black on his body was clothing, he had no idea. Somehow, he just knew.
Nake must be looking for me.
But who is Nake?
He loves me.
And in this world, that was wrong. Nake was a boy, too.
I love him.
That statement of his mind made Soku blink. Not only was it wrong to be loved by another boy - but it was especially wrong to love that boy back.
Soku turned his head around from the dead-end he was facing, and gasped. This was not his world - and that he was certain of. Bright lights, tall buildings, and many, many people walking, rushing around.
Soku stood up, resting his hand on the wall. After a few seconds, when the rushing of blood from his head stopped, he moved forward, stumbling slightly as he emerged from the darkness of the alley into the bright sunlight that filled the city.
A few steps and twice as many glares later, Soku shook his head. Was his black-tipped silver hair so strange? Or... He stared down at a puddle. Perhaps it was his eye-color that did the trick - a strangely-bright yellow. He suddenly remembered Nake's eyes - green pools that Soku simply lost himself in.
The answer to his questioning of glares came as pain in his back when some little kid tugged at his tail. As Soku spun around, his eyes softened. What he saw was a girl, maybe five years old, her hair a glossy black. She was dressed in rags, and was clearly rather hungry.
Soku's eyes traveled from the girl to the older boy that held her hand. The other looked old enough to easily overtake Soku's fifteen winters - and Soku had no idea how he knew that that was the time he spent in his world. A vague memory - Nake had been the same age.
The other boy squeezed the girl's hand, apparently scolding her for pulling on Soku's tail. The little one merely giggled. What a normal person would have heard when the older turned to Soku was, "Forgive Tena. She didn't mean to be rude." However, Soku, being from a different world, couldn't understand a thing. All he could think of was how much like Nake this boy looked. He even had those green eyes... Somehow, Soku couldn't remember if Nake ever had the ears and tail that were characteristic to Soku's world - and obviously weren't to this one.
"Nake?" escaped Soku's lips in a whisper.
The older boy's eyes widened. "You know Nake?" Again, in that unknown language of this world.
Soku hung his head in near-despair, hair spilling over his eyes. This obviously wasn't Nake - but who, then?
"You're... Different. We need to get you off the street," stated the boy, catching Soku's hand in the one that wasn't holding Tena. Soku merely stared, then yelped as he was dragged forward.
The boy turned back to look at Soku. "My name is Kane, by the way."
"Kane..." So like Nake it was. Soku was able to pick that much up, realizing that Kane was the older boy's name.
"Soku," the boy stated as he looked into those pools of deep-green.
"It's a pleasure." Kane was talking slowly, and Soku realized that that was so he could pick up the language. With a smile, he repeated the phrase, and watched Kane's eyes widen in surprise. Clearly, he wasn't expecting to pick it up quite so quickly. But it didn't matter. Even if he could say it, he didn't know what it meant.
Kane turned around again, still keeping Soku's hand in his, and Soku followed, like a lost dog on a leash, his white, black-tipped cat-like tail waving back and forth as he walked.
||That's as much as I have so far... Creepy, much.
o-o
I scare myself.||

Believe in darkness,
The lifeless predator,
Consuming everything,
The perfect enemy.
Call it to you,
Drown yourself in it.
Let it consume you,
Your soul be eaten.
