i just got done with a wonderful book that i started yesterdy...it's tittle is the name of this entry...i think the auther's name is caroline b. cooney...or something like that...

anyway it's the story of a girl named anexandra("not alexandra. most people get it wong the first time." wink who gets caught up in the turmoil that eventually become the horror known as the trojan war, in fact she is practically by helen's side for half the book(&certainly for the most brutal,exhiting parts)

the tittles' meaning is that her patron goddess is medusa...sort of...&thuout the book she must try to overcome the adversity around her...with the help of that goddess she so often invokes.

i loves this book&did not want to put it down!




the way that helen is portrayed btw, reminds me of a charactor n memouares of a geisha(i read the book b4 i saw the move)was portayed...a chara whose name is remonicent of peaches...

as 4 anexandra...she is an o.c.&therfore we do not know her fate until the end of the book...
