My Life Okay, I'm not usually into journals, but I PROMISE I'll get into it. I used to have this kinda journal in real life, but it got boring. Hehe. (The only reason I did it, was because Cosmo had a diary!) - Sabre X

This week...
Wow, I haven't posted for more than a week now, huh? Heh, so much for every other day.

ME:

Well, my week was fairly busy, I've had a ton of tryouts for a bunch of different teams.

On monday, there was this girl from my elementary school that also goes to the school I go to and I talk to her sometimes. That monday, a friend of mine told me she was diagnosed with anorexia. Her friends are really scared for her and a whole bunch of teachers know about it too. Unfortunately, she is now in the hospital, and has just been moved to sick kids a few days ago.

I hope the most sensitive of my dear readers aren't breaking down just yet, please don't. Just give hope for this sorry girl. Her life is really shakey.

But, to lighten the mood a bit, on monday I found out I was on the Athletic Council! WHOOPEE. For those that don't know, the Athletic Council is a group of people from grade 8 and 9 who are in charge of organizing school activities. For example, we're hosting a dodgeball tournament next wednesday, sadly, I wasn't able to volunteer for it since I'm in it. twisted I'm gonna whack out everyone there! MUAHAH.
Oh, and there was a meeting for us Monday morning, and I was late. sweatdrop Not such a good impression. There was also a slo-pitch try out that day afterschool. I did fairly well, since I was going for outfield, we were in a seperate group than the infielders. But, I caught every ball. biggrin

Tuesday... Running Club was in the morning, as usual. I don't think I ever mention that in my journal. xd I wonder why. And football tryouts afterschool. I wasn't as good as I was with the slo pitch; it's much harder to throw a football than it is a more rounder ball, you know.

Wednesday, there was cross country in the morning. My friend, who I must say is the most spectacular runner (he did 9 laps of a soccer field in 12 minutes! I only did 7. >.> Not much of a distance person), went out to cross country and begged me and his other bud to come out with him. So I did, except I was totally screwed. Our perimeter lap is gigantic, and I can't keep up. I probably only did like... 3 or 4 but he managed to do 5. Which was supposed to be our minimum. So, I quit the team. I CANNOT run, okay? I'm just a sprinter, but I'd get tired even if it's just like 80m, because I really am sprinting all the way. It'd take me like 5 minutes to calm back down. Oh, and it was picture that day too. I dressed up pretty okay I suppose, a clean Nike shirt, and a varsity jacket. Since my glasses are usually crooked, I tried to make sure they were straight for the picture. And because my ears just crooked (yes, they are, everyone's is I think, you just notice it for people that wear glasses) I had to slip one of the side thingys (I don't really know what it's called...) ON my ear instead of normally on top of it. Our pictures cut through break, which sucked because I was seriously starving.

On Thursday, there was running club in the morning again, and softball in the afternoon. I ran my normal couple laps, but this time I wasn't as tired. But my legs felt extremely weak. Oh, and my old homeform teacher spazzed out at me. He was like 'Oh, come on Nick! Not you!' because he was trying to get people to run, and he was at the little section where I walk, because I divide the field up in my head. Yes, it's strange, I know. Anyway, softball was actually pretty good. I got my normal caught-all-balls again, and I was able to bat today. I did really good though. I seriously SMASHED it DEEP left field, the supposed left fielder was way close, they were standing like, a metre off of shortstop and they had to run for like a minute before they got the ball. And that was my first hit.
I only swung the bat like, 4 times after that. Two fouls, then another deep hit. smile I was really happy, but the coach said to stop. >.> I was having FUN, man!
But, a friend of mine who tried out too, (he gets really sensitive sometimes) got really pissed, because there like a ton of people who got to hit again. I mean, it's not fair for me, like four times to swing, come on! And he didn't, so he got really pissed off.

And today, Friday. I had another football try-out. A friend of mine that tried out last time, quit because they had a bunch of things to do. So, I was alone. We did some catching drills and a kicking thing. Or is it punting? Whatever, I'm not so great at terminology. Anyway, I kinda sucked at it, some people were expecting I'd do great. xd I have no idea where they get those thoughts. But, seriously, there was this really short squirt, in grade 7 I think, and he kicked it so well! Like, it was amazing! He was the only one who can kick it (with perfect technique, so to speak. Hehe, that rhymes).
Sadly, I think I lost my dear CSI: Cold Burn book, I was reading it, and it was a nice birthday present from the girl I mention way up there, at the beginning of this extremely long journal. I think I left it at music this wednesday, but I can't find my music teacher and it's not in the office or the lost and found. I hope I can get it soon, I need it for my booktalk on Monday. But just in case, I'm writing up a back-up booktalk in case I can't find it, because you have to read a small paragraph from the book.
Oh, afterschool the softball team was up. And I was the fourth one on the list!! biggrin I was seriously happy. It was a huge improvement since being the last on the list last year. The coach doesn't put it in any specific order, but just being close to the top makes me feel fuzzy inside. heart Oh, remember that guy that was pissed off that other day? Yeah, he left early because he was pissed. Again. Hehe. Sometimes, he gets on my nerve, but we've been sorta-buds ever sicne grade one, so, I guess we're attached. razz Oh well, sometimes he's pretty useful. Not that I'd take advantage of him or something. ninja

I'm sorry my dear readers, for taking so much of your time. Look, I've been writing, well typing for a couple hours already. I hope this isn't TOO much.

Until next time, adieu.

[EDIT]

Oh yeah, I was able to get that Mokona Hat, FINALLY!
I know I've been putting off that quest link, but I've finally drafted it, so I'll be able to put it up soon. When I finally make it. Hehe.
