ZOMBIE LAND!

please take out your brains.


im getting really ticked at censoring,which ive been thinking about lately. Someone (can't remember who) mentioned indoctrination in the form of censorship, and I agree, what is 'acceptable?' People all have slightly different opinions. Censoring swearing, nudity, all that sort of thing is probably either pointless, or going to do more harm that good. It's not as if kids aren't gonna learn 'naughty words' from their parents, siblings, other kids at school or whatever... And most people know what a naked body looks like by the time they're 5... if from nowhere else, their own body. What the hell do they have ratings for in the first place anyway?!? If parents don't want their kids seeing things, they should make them go to bed before they come on or something... (little kids anyways) and if the kids are older they'll just look other places, say, the net..? And bloody great BEEPs or silent spots in songs ruins them, and makes even more obvious that something has been censored. As with programmes.. If the Someone who was deciding what was 'ethical' decided things like animal testing, stem cell research and eating meat were not 'ethical' and assessed kids on it, woud they fail if they supported these things? Stem cell research has the potential to save lives, as does animal testing (I mean I love animals, and cruelty of any sort is just WRONG, but if an animal is in discomfort or dies painlessly, and in return many people or other animals are saved by a medicine developed from this, I call it a fair trade.) What I mean, is who has the right to decide what is 'ethical' and (where it comes back to topic) who has a right to decide what is acceptable? Edit: I mean, for the general population, not parents deciding how to bring up their kids.
