Okay, I hate her. She's a total jerk. And I mean that in the best possible way. arrow neutral It isn't like I haven't given her a chance. It has been almost two months now.
Today, I announced over the radio that I needed to count down my drawer, which has always been common practice, since the managers can sometimes forget that someone has to leave at a certain time. She comes over to my register, looks at me, and says, essentially, "You don't need to tell me how to do my job. Do I tell you how to do yours?"
In general, she is rude to the employees. And what really annoys me is she sometimes checks my purse for stolen merchandise before I leave the store. I've got a giant green rubber p***s on my shelf (don't ask why or how I have it, just know that I have it) and I'm going to start putting it in my purse in preparation for the next time she feels the need to check out my stuff. Let her find that!
My final complaint is that, since she's gotten there, all she does is push the sales numbers practically down our throats. We have this goal, yadda yadda. Here's the problem. She is NOT inspirational. Our last manager made me competitive. I wanted to do well. And I rocked my store so hard. I was the best seller ever. Now, I couldn't give a flying rat's patootie. And I really believe it is because of the direction she is moving the sales culture in.
