I know it's been a while since I've written anything in here, but I also wonder if anybody reads these things anymore...anyways on with the subject at hand: Halo 3. whee I played the beta test with the two multiplayer maps about 2 months ago at my neighbor's house and it blew me away, the sounds, the graphics, and the layout were all simply amazing, but boy was i in for a shock when the actual game came out, and i mean that in a good way. The game was MUCH better than I expected, the plot was much better and tied in with the second game, the cut-scenes and graphics in general were unbelievable, the arsenal of weapons and vehicles was greatly improve upon both in what you could use and how you could use it, and a great addition to the online multiplayer was added in that you can gain ranking in experience based on how many online games you win and can go up the military ladder. Now for my complaints, if you haven't played the game yet and are planning to stop reading now... as for the rest of you, my biggest annoyance was the ending, it was not the greatest, IMHO I'd almost recommend getting a buddy and playing through the game on Legendary so you can see the extended, and much better, ending. The second thing is that Bungie made the needlers a bit more powerful, but they are no longer able to be duel wielded. (if you are in that boat I would recommend the Brute Spikers, same effect as the old needlers and can be dual used) emo Finally my last annoyance with this game is the deaths in it, two people die who IMHO shouldn't have or if you were going to kill them off kill one of the two but not both.
