Straining
I try to fight
Aching I press on
Refusing to give in.
Shivering in discust
Slowly being tainted
I scream in frustration
Tears trying to flow.
Blackened
My eyes can not see
Blindly urging
Strength I once posessed.
Lost I cry
I do not know what happened
Where did I lose myself?
When did the black dove take over?
Wings pertruding
Black tattered feathers
My whole has changed
I have lost to a dark past.
I recognize the feelings
The wings a faint memory
A victory I thought once won
Now a defeat.
