"Okay Mom, I'll be there in a second!" Shara shouted out her bedroom door. She was hastily stuffing in her school textbooks and papers. Quickly she whispered, "I'll see you later, Popo." Running out the door, Popo the hamster just sat in his cage for a moment before hopping over to the wheel.

"Man, I wish school wasn't taking her away. . ." he said to himself. The wheel squeaked here and there as Popo ran and ran on the wheel. Soon, he stopped and was spinning around in the wheel. After a moment, he toppled off the wheel in dizziness. Laying on the ground, he thought about the next thing to do to keep himself busy. Popo gasped with a light bulb above his head, "Oh, right! I can just try to climb like Spider Hammy! Man, Spider Hammy 3 was radical. . . But I have nobody to express my opinion about it to." He dashed to the side of the cage and began, but slowly, grip and pull himself towards the top. "Almost. . . There!. . ." Popo barely grabbed the edge of the top, but fell directly on his back, sending a thud sound wave through the room.
"Owww! I guess I can just take a nap to rest my back. . ." Stumbling towards the plastic house, he plopped himself onto the soft, fluffy tissue placed in his home and quickly fell asleep.
