where does the road begin?
and where lies its end?
to walk a thousand miles just,
to be in the same place again
finding forks and hidden paths,
the way too lost, too fast,
the light cannot find its way, there,
it suffocates, it does not dare,
it cannot, for it is bare, this heart,
this path that you wear,
the road once lost is there, there,
it tempts us, reminds us,
of our footsteps, the past,
you want to go back, I,
I want to go back with you,
but it does not end, and,
it cannot be retraced,
the road begins, and then,
the world begins, reborn,
through tear-stained glimpses,
and trials, and walks, never,
never knowing when to stop,
when the road will stop,
and if we should let it,
where lies its and, and,
where does the road begin?
