(Character story) Part two: The Birthday Gift
"Can I have my present yet dad?" The girl asked, she was exciterd it was her 13th birthday today. The man who had saved her she now refered to as 'dad'. The man replied, "Not now, but soon Sakura." "Aw dad, why not?" "Wait until after dinner. Now go to the store and get what I need." "Alright she said, running out the door and towards the market where she would percus what she needed. On her way back, she ran into a man and she said, "Sorry sir! I was in a hurry!" "It's alright." he responded. They then looked eachother in the eyes for a moment then Sakura turned her head and said, "I must go now bye!" and she ran off. The man mumbled, "Could she have been...? Where is He when I need him." he was refering to his friend. He walked on to a little cafe where he was told to meet his friend. As he sat down across from his friend he saw the expression on his face and asked, "Do you think you saw one?" "Yes, it was a young girl with red eyes and brown hair, she wore black too." he replied and the other man nodded. At the same time, the girl got home and she gave the items to her dad and she sat down at the table. After dinner her father said, "Now, here is your gift." he handed her a small case, she opened it and a necklas with a crystal on it was inside. She said, "It's beautiful! Where did you get it?" "My parents gave it to me, it's passed down through genrations. The crystal is from the mother crystal called Crystal of Kori. They also say the crystal made humans." He said, Sakura was exciteded and this was the best birthday ever for her.
