Storm
Dawn is approaching...
darkness lingers...
storm clouds gathering...
rain splashing down on the cold pavement
trees swaying to the harsh winds
a deathly silence...
a crackle of lightning streaks across the misty skies
Endless gray~
Subsided
A ray of hope;
a flicker of light...
shimmers of warmth ascending...
the last drop fallen-
out of hiding they appear...
the cold and shivering;
the last cloud drifted-
Endless blue~
