VJ Playlist
Realizing the coolness of one of Gaia's better inventions, I just had to take advantage of this opportunity and make myself a playlist consisting of several interesting movies I had come across.
These six particular videos are both fan-made and official movies of my top favorite video games of all time. Some insight behind each;
ICO beta footage - This is a video showing Ico in it's original form for the the Playstation. The game was then delayed and retooled for the PS2.
Mega64: Ico - Live action skit making fun of Ico's gameplay.
All Games are Urban - Ico Review - A humorous review explaining elements of the game, along with a more 'urban' view on it.
Shadow of the Colossus Intro - The intro cutscene to Shadow of the Colossus. Displays a breath of the game's famous artistic design and sense of wonder.
NICO (Shadow of the Colossus Beta) - An early concept video, much like the PS1 ICO above. Shadow of the Colossus began development in 2002 under the project name "Nico" and was intended to be a direct sequel to Ico. The name "Nico" itself is a portmanteau of the Japanese word ni (に "two" wink and "Ico".
Wander and the Colossus Movie Trailer - A very well done fan flash expressing the results of the game's storytelling effects. Impressive even more so is that it shares an artistic tone similar to that of the game.
