(Character story)Part eleven:Show What You're Made of!
The next morning Kou and Neo took Sakura to eat, then they got their stuff ready, Aka would be going with them, but would stay in his panther form. He loved to be this way, he usally was able to get to know people better this way. He would hear their problems, feelings, they would share things with him, and in the end, he'd reveail what he really was. He knew this wasn't the 'right' way to do it, but he did it anyway. Neo thought, Sakura will probily find out soon, if Aka has to fight, he might turn back to his human form. Kou looked at Neo, he sighed and knew what he was thinking about, but, it didn't matter. Then a gun was fired. "Who shot that?" Sakura asked, "The military!" Neo whispered then he said, "Sakura, go ahead with the panther, his name is Aka, don't get seprated, Kou and I will meet up with you shortly, now go!" "Leave you guys here? But Neo I---" "Just go!" Sakura nodded, she hadn't heard Neo that mad before, she and Aka then ran ahead of the two. Kou and Neo waited. As Aka abd Sakura ran, they could hear the guns getting closer, Aka knew he could not stay in his panther form any longer, he turned to his human form and Sakura hadn't noticed until the stopped because she had tripped and fell. She looked to her side, the panther was gone, then a boy her age came infront of her and asked, "Are.... You.... Okay?" As he tried to cetch his breath, "Yeah." Sakura replied, then she asked, "Who... Are.... You?" she was tring to cetch her breath too. "I'm... Aka." He replied, almost done cetching his breath. She went wide eyed. He then helped her up, and they started to walk away from the spot, not running. They then stopped in a clearing, but Aka took Sakura into a tree so they could hide. They were soon found. "We've foundd you kids! There's no running from us now. Aka swore under his breath then he jumped down, telling Sakura to stay there wile he took care of it. Aka said, "So, you're the government's miltary dogs. Nice to meet you." He then turned to his panther form and started to fight, but was shot, and turned to his human form, when he started to get up, he screamed in pain, the shot couldn't kill him, but it was good enough to hurt him enough so that he could bearly get up. "Aka!!!!" Sakura yelled, jumping down from the tree and going over to him. He told her to run in a whisper, but she wouldn't leave. "Run wile you can Sakura, Ill be fine." "No Aka." The whisperd to each other, then Sakura stood up and said, "So, you are that low?" "Quite girl! You can't do anything! Just give up!" She shed a lonely tear as one of the men threatened to kill Aka if she didn't go with them, she wouldn't allow them to kill him, then the crystal on her necklas glew blinding bright, and with her untaped powers, she threw them all back, knocking herself out, Aka was dropped, he then crawled over to her, and turned back to his panther form, his eyes glew purple, and he chased the men away, going back to Sakura, the blood loss made him pass out, and Neo and Kou finally found the both of them, unconcious.
