'Dark Passion Play' was a disappointment.

One of the popular songs from that album, "Bye Bye Beautiful" was just Marco showing how pissed off he was at Tarja-- through lyrics. Like an EMO. emo
Also, a few others from that album, like "The Islander", wasen't even metal.
And the lyrics for some of the songs, oh God, I thought they were ******** up bad. In "Whoever Brings the Night", it was clearly singing about sex by saying "I love to suffer" and "you have a dirty mind". Which by the way, Nightwish NEVER did according to the old songs I heard.
The music also disappointed me. It wasen't the same as the older Nightwish music.
I also did a comparison with 'Dark Passion Play' and an older Nightwish album from 5 years ago called "Century Child" (I bought them both at the same time.) and there was a huge difference. Besides the vocalist's voice, it was also music paste, and how some of them were telling a story.
The only songs that I was saticfied from 'Dark Passion Play' was "Amaranth" "Cadence of her Last Breath" "Eva" "Sahara" "For the Heart I once had" "Last of the Wilds" and "7 Days to the Wolves".

If I was right in front of the band, and I could say at least one thing to them, I would say "Congratulations, you guys. You just made one of your fans disappointed with your sell out music that expresses hate for your other vocalist. I hope your glad. Because I'm not going to buy your future albums that are sung by this b***h whom ruined a once terrific band."
