Just because I’m thin
Doesn’t mean I want to be a model
Doesn’t mean I’m some flexible gymnast
Doesn’t mean I’d use that flexibility to be promiscuous
Doesn’t mean I’m promiscuous at all
Just because I’m thin
Doesn’t mean I get by easier
Or that I have to show off my body
I don’t look like a slut
I certainly don’t have to be a slut
Just because I’m thin
Doesn’t mean I must remain that way
I don’t have to develop an eating disorder
I don’t even have to think about such things
Just because I’m thin
Doesn’t mean you have any right to judge me
Doesn’t mean you can make fun of me
I don’t enjoy being called a twig
Or a skeleton
It isn’t a compliment
It only adds to my insecurity
Just because I’m thin
Doesn’t mean I’m not normal
Why do people look at me differently?
