Chapter 2

I woke up the next morning to find Alex gone! "Oh good your awake! We took Alex home about an hour ago, he said he had practice or something like that."
"Mom! It's his big soccer game today! I promised him I'd be there!"
"Well you have to eat breakfast first!"
"It started 10 minutes ago! DAD! Can you drive me to Alex's game?"
"I wanna go too" said paige
"Paige! Your not even dressed yet! Besides you wouldn't even be able to stay awake!" Then the phone rang,Mom went to answer it.

"Yes I would"
"No you wouldn't"
"Yes I would"
"No you-"
"Alright girls that's enough" Then we gleamed at eachother angrley.
"That was Alex he said the game was cancled"
"Cancled!" We both said.
"But Mom It's the bigest game of the year!"
"Well why don't you look outside and you'll see why it was canceled."
It was raining.

About an hour later alex called. "Hello?"
"Hi Jeanie!"
"Oh hey Alex, Sorry about your game."
"it's okay,hey so are you guys sill moving?"
Then I realized that I never asked mom, we might still be moving!
"I gotta go alex!"

I ran to mom's room, she was laying on her bed reading a book. "Mom?"
"Yes?"
"Are we still moving?" I said trieing to catch my breath
" Well your dad and I talked it over and we decided-" than the phone rang.
"Oh will you get that?"
"Fine!"

"Hello?"
"Hello is this the beaker residence?"
"Yes it is"
" Yes, I'm calling to make sure I've got all the right information for the house you bought in Alabama last month." I dropped the phone, I felt like I was going to puke. They already bought the house! We were moving to Alabama even though they said they were going to talk about it. the whole thing was a lie.They were never really going to talk about it first! they had been planning this for a whole month!

"Hello? Hello?"then I picked up the phone.
"Just one minute I'll get my mom on the phone right now."
I wanted to scream but nothing would come out,I just gave the phone to mom and went into my room and layed down on my bed,What else could I do?
