Its so hard to watch a loved one go. We had a hard time making the choice to put our dog to sleep; but I belive that it was for the better. He is now in a better place, free from the pain that he was in.
We were all with him till the very end. I sat with him and held is paw as he went. I felt him stop breathing I held him till he took his last breath and I will NEVER forget the site that was before me as we got up to leave.
He looked just like he was sleeping peacfuly, relaxed and content. He was surrounded by family and will always live on in our hearts.....we all love you Hamish
