And God said:

"You, who fought the darkness, shall be my Heaven's angels, 'cause you're the fair and brave."

"You, who fought the light, shall fall and be Hell's demons, 'cause you're wicked and treacherous."

"And you, who fought in no side, shall be the fae on Earth, forever switching between light and shadow."

"And we, Lord?" asked the creatures who had fought both in light and darkness.

"You, who fought in both sides, shall be... hmmm... let me think about it..."

And to this day the nameless fight as angels, control as demons and dream as the fae.
