News that Death Note books have been seized in Beijing is really old, and the terrifying follow-up of a "Kira"
killer in Belgium certainly didn't help the widely-acclaimed series' reputation with parents and educators.
Now NBC12-- who, yes, needs to learn how to spell "Japan" --reports that a high school senior in Virginia has
been suspended because he wrote classmates' names down in a book he called his "Death Note", and an
investigation is pending as well. An investigation into what, exactly, I'm not sure...
