My poor dog
Two weeks ago I had to put my dog down. Her name was Hannah and she had diabetes so bad that the vet said we were lucky we hadn’t come home to find her in a coma. Lucky…ha! She was my baby, only 5 years old, I still remember the day we brought her home. My mother was pregnant at the time with my little brother Sam. Somebody was selling yellow Labrador puppies in a parking lot so we went to take a look, Hannah was the most active puppy there and I immediately loved her, but hey, what can you expect from a ten-year-old? Anyway we bought her then and there and took her home, she, being a puppy, fell asleep on the way. When we got home my mom sat down on the garden chair with Hannah in her lap while Gerry unlocked the door, the funny thing was my little brother, who wasn’t born yet, didn’t like when mom had things on her tummy and so he started kicking, you could see her head bouncing up and down but she didn’t wake up, it was just so cute! 4laugh And now I miss her, sitting in the quiet house. crying And I'm so mad at the vet, he said that it would be like she went to sleep but it wasn’t. She just stopped breathing!
