Josh's Point of View
It was five in the afternoon and I was very excited. I couldn't wait to tell Char about my new love, Brendan. He was coming to the bowling alley tonight, like I always try to every week. I can't wait to tell her; but at least I'm getting distracted by all these text messages I'm recieving.
It was almost six and I was already at the bowling alley, and so was Brendan. But Char still hadn't arrived yet, and she said that she'd be here. She better keep her promise, I mean she always comes when I do. It had just changed to six o' three and I was getting impatient, so I took out my phone and called her.
*call waiting noise rings once*
"Hello?"
"Hey where are you??"
"I'll be there in like five minutes calm down. Goodbye."
*She hangs up*
"Well, I guess five minutes won't be too bad, I mean I can't be that impatient." I thought outloud.
"Babe, your pretty much jumping up and down." Brendan replied.
I stopped jumping and started tapping my foot.
"Sorry, Im just so happy right now. I mean you get to meet one of my best friends and..." I trailed off and started blushing.
"And what?"
"Im really happy I have you now."
He smiled at me and bent his head forward to kiss me, but I heard a familiar voice. It was Char and she was walking towards us, and he bent his bed back. She was wearing he pink striped tank top, faded blue jeans, he lavender jacket, and of course her black and pink DCs. She had a huge smile on her face as she gave me a huge hug. Then she looked at Brendan and smiled.
"Hi, Im Char. And you are?"
"Im Brendan, Josh's boyfriend." He replied laughing.
She started blushing and giggling.
"So what do you guys wanna do?" She asked.
We both replied, " I don't know."
"Well then where do you want to go?"
Once again, " I don't know."
She started giggling again as she kept staring at us.
"Well then let's go walk around outside to FIND something to do." She said still giggling.
We walked outside in the formation of a triforce, Brendan and I side-to-side about one foot apart and Char right behind the gap. We turned left as we went out the doors and walked down the long hall, the air was somewhat cold and it smelled so fresh. My eyes looked back at Char and she was trying not to giggle, but I don't think she could help herself. Brendan l turned his head to look at her puzzled.
"What's so funny back there?" He asked sarcastically.
Her giggling lessoned but you could still hear it slightly.
"It's just that Im so happy for both of you. And its also kind of funny how you guys are wearing black and Im wearing bright colors, I don't know I just find that funny in an ironic way." She said meaningfully.
Me and Brendan just looked at eachother and smiled. Then we all looked ahead and stood on the curve just right before the end of the sidewalk. Char looked at us again and started smiling and giggling again, but not as long this time. Then we just looked at the stars that you COULD see and then we just looked at one another with smiles on our faces. Char quickly looked back at the hall we walked out of and saw her little brother Joe coming. I saw her glare that way.
"What the hell do you want Joe??!!" She yelled across the hall with anger in her voice.
