Three Typhoons Hit Where I Live...Without ANY EFFING WARNING
Pe El is "gone"... And my house was thiiiiiiiiiis close to flooding. You remember how close my house is to the Willipa? The water came right up to the back porch, and the barn has an inch of mud on the ground...not to mention now only half a door. The woods were half destroyed by wind, and a tree almost landed on our roof... We had to go to Gramma and Grampas...which wasn'y totally fun....it smells odd and Gramma collects newspapers...lots and lots of newspapers...piles and stacks and piles of newspapers...and cats....but I love cats...so that part was okay.... My DS died the first day of blackout....XP And the light was poor half the time so I couldn't even draw.....T.T On the bright side, I got to try Spaghettios for the first time. We cooked them on our woodstove (yay for our being too poor to get electric heating! ^.^) and Big Brother and his Fiancee came over....for a couple days, which was really cool. I played Scrabble with Fiancee and won...then got second of third place in 4-player Scrabble....XP I had bad tiles or something, I swear! XD And we got our power back a day or so early...which was neat...yay underground power cables in the Valley area, I guess... XD Mom also got evaporated milk, but we didn't have to use it! YAY! OH SWEET LORD, YAY! (it was terrifying! the box was so....retro.... I took tons of pictures of the whole thing, but I left the camera at mom's...I should have some pics on here on Tuesday)...
And we had no school all week....
At least, I hope not.
