Chapter XI
"Help!" I shouted. Each blow I made to the call bruised my hands. The cold cement scrapped up my hand causing my blood to trickle down my arm and stain the wall. I sighed and sunk to the floor resting my head in my hands.
"No one is free on the outside. I failed my people, and Kai." I sighed. "I will die in this cell."
The door to the cell opened and Aurel walked in. His face was blank and the door closed behind him.
"My my, you little tramp." He shook his head and walked towards me. I got up quickly and stayed against the wall walking away from him.
"Get away from me!" I growled at him. Aurel grabbed my arm with bone crushing force and I yelped.
"How dare you humiliate my empire!" He growled at me. "But how can I be mad at your beauty?" He kissed my neck and I struggled to get free.
"Get off!" I growled at him. I could feel him move downward and I gasped while he pulled down my gown. A sharp metal pole stuck out of the wall and I gathered enough strength to roll over and press him against the spear-like pole. I could hear the crunch and squash. Blood stained my naked chest and I looked into Aurel's eyes watching them glaze over slightly. I panted with fear watching him die in front of me. The beauty of the pearl was no match for the shark. He looked like he was nailed up on the wall. I gathered up my dress and covered myself and stood in the middle of the room with shock. Two guards opened the door with their guns and stared at me then at the former king in a bloody mess. They dropped their guns and got on their knees.
"Queen Aurora." The bowed. I stood there in shock looking at the guards.
"Jesus you're alive!" She hugged me in a death grip.
"Can't breathe!" I gasped and she let go.
"I can't believe you're in command now!"
Since I killed Aurel, I was now Queen no doubts about it. The priest walked over to me with two armlets. They were gold with two metal angel wings on them. I was dressed back into my normal clothes and put the armlets on my arm. A perfect fit. One of the ministers walked up to me.
"You have a visitor." He spoke.
I blinked and walked over to the doors. A tall burly man with scaled walked in. I could recognize that mohawk anywhere.
"Uncle Midge!" I ran over to him and gave him a tight hug.
"Whoa! Look how much you're grown!" He laughed and patted my shoulder. "I'm sure Jasper would be proud."
I could feel my face crack into a frown.
"I miss him."
"I know you do. And guess who wandered into my place."
Jack popped out from behind him and gave me a hug.
"You're alive Aurora!" He started to cry and I picked him up.
"C'mon now you've gotta be strong for when you become king." I spoke to him and smiled. The priest came up to me.
"Your Empire is waiting."
I set Jack down and walked out the Palace doors and slowly being greeted by thousands of my people. Reaching the pedestal my heart started to race, but then instinct took over.
"My people! No longer will we have the Tuors here in out mist! Behold the new day and age of Rozzaria!" I shouted holding up my gunblade to the sky. The people cheered with their hearts and soul. I looked up to the sky and closed my eyes while the wind blew my long brown hair. For my mother, father, brother, and love will be waiting for me in the Lifestream. Though a small voice in my heart says that this journey is not over. Far from it.
