Alright...so, sitting from the comfortable thrown of a Gaian who's worth about 40,000 gold, I have just found out that I can get the two most coveted items on my dream avatar -- the Gothic Veil and the Mythic Hair! I've put a bid on the Mythic Hair, hoping I won't be outbid and that the auctioneer won't cancel...and if I win, that means I'd be getting the moon in my 'do for a measly 5,025 gold! I'm so excited...man, I really hope no one outbids me. I'll find out in another 20 minutes...

20 minutes later: Okay, so I didn't get that particular Mythic Hair. It went to someone who bid in the last minute, like I did, but he WAY outbid me...I was trying to keep the bargain price of about 6,250, but whoever bid against me went up to 14,000. eek So I sucked it up and bought the cheapest Buy It Now, which was 17,000. I don't think I'm reselling it, either. Normally, I'd try to resell it to turn a profit...but I did that with the Gothic Veil yesterday, and I don't think I can bring myself to do it with the Mythic Hair. It's just too cool! I'm going to try it on!!!

30 minutes later: OMG, so cool! I'm so glad I didn't resell the hair...not only do I have a ton of styles to play with, but I like the way you can slowly see my transformation into my dream avatar. I've got one version of my hair (Essence of Moonlight, not Essence of Luna like on my dream avatar) and all of my green tattoos on underneath my normal clothing. The green forehead jewel is on as well, but you can't really see it underneath the hair's bangs...which is still kinda cool, like I'm revealing my new avatar in stages, and the stone is being kinda hidden for a reason. Once the avatar's fully "evolved," it will look like the dream avatar on my profile page. Nifty! I love it! Merry Christmas to me!

Who knows how much later: Okay, so I splurged again. Got Kaya the Cat because I figured, hey, every magical avatar needs a familiar! 3nodding It took me a while to get used to the way she looked...at first, she didn't look anything like a cat to me, just a fluffball of orange and black stripes. But now I like her a lot, and she is part of my Treehouse Mystic avatar, so I figure she's still a good investment. Plus, I had a dream about Kaya where my own cat Gidget turned into a cat with the same stripes as Kaya, and when I asked my cat how she changed her fur like that, she said, "I took some steroids." Huh. Interesting. It must be fate.
