Let me say before I begin, that I do recognize that Satanic worship is mostly intended as a rebellion against the christian God. Furthermore, I recognize that in most cases, Satan worship is actually a misnomer. However, such is not always the case.

Generally, most people begin Satan worship either because they are experimenting in religions, or they have been mistreated in some way by someone who claims that they are a christian or are working under the name of God. I could say a few things about people who claim to be christians, but I will refrain from such things until I am writing an entry about such people.
Satan worshipers engage in a number of parodies of christian behavior in rebellion against God and fulfillment of their own desires. While such things are not particularly pleasant to God, to attribute them to worshiping Satan is almost laughable.
In reality, the very greatest subjects of Satan are those who refuse to even consider the viewpoint that there may be an all powerful God who has passed his instructions and desires for us to our hands in the form of the christian bible. Many devout atheists fit this bill very well. Satan worshipers, not so much. Their practices also reflect an ignorance about who Satan is and what his desires are. Let me point out a few key points:
1) Sacrifice-
The killing of a living animal is a time-honored tradition among many religions. The bible describes many sacrifices being made to God before the time of the creation of the christian church. In fact, I don't think God would particularly care whether or not you killed any animals, unless they belonged to someone else. That wouldn't be nice. Sacrifice of animals is in no way particularly satanic. It simply means you killed an animal.
2) Sex-
Now sex is a sticky topic for many churches. There are a great deal of churches who consider the topic of sex to be taboo and will avoid any discussion of it like the plague. This, however, does not apply to the bible. According to the bible, it is simply promiscuous sex that is sinful. The bible specifically states that in order to have sex without sinning, the couple involved must be married. Other than that, the bible simply seems to make no distinction, besides the stipulation that the two must be a man and a woman. The simple fact is, God simply doesn't care how much sex you have. It is the pain inflicted on others and self that results from a lifestyle of casual sex that causes God to disallow such things.
3) Selling your soul-
Perhaps the most ludicrous practice amongst worshipers of Satan is the act of selling one's soul for powers or profit. Listen, all you young and/or gullible people out there. Satan is the master of lies and an excellent hand at bargaining. There is no way in hell that he is going to go out of his way to buy something that he can get for free if he is patient. Anyone who tries to sell his soul has nothing of interest to sell.
That being said, I have seen many a christian sell his or her soul unwittingly. New christians seem beset by temptations that will tear them away from their newfound religion. The most common ones I have seen being a girlfriend and, oddly enough, a car.
