5-2 Win
11:48 AM: Montreal in Washington to play Ovechkin and his crew. It's the first time they have met this season. It will also be the first time that the Habs are facing Washington's new coach, Bruce Boudreau. Cristobal Huet will start his first game after the injury he suffered the 1st of December. The Canadiens have won 5 of the 8 games we played against Washington since Ovechkin has arrived with that formation.
7:47 PM: Montreal leading 1-0 after a Powerplay goal by Guillaume Latendresse! Saku Koivu and Chris Higgins got an assist. We've been playing kinda well, and Huet made some good saves. The Capitals offence played well and pressured us. We managed to stop it and score on a PP.
8:36 PM: 3-1 Montreal after 40 minutes! Guillaume Latendresse with two goals so far! Right off the face-off, shot and goal! Plekanec scored the first goal of the period. It was a bit lucky though... we'll take it anyway! It seems like Latendresse "woke up" after being left out in the last games. Huet not bad. Caps starting third period with a PP.
9:32 PM: 5-2 Montreal Final! Great win! Even if it's on the road! Sergei Kostitsyn scored his first NHL goal! Koivu got the puck for him. Young players from both Washington and Montreal had a good game. The game was horrible if you look at the shots. 37-21shots Washington... Capitals outshooting us badly! Huet made great saves to make us win! Latendresse should be call Laten-dos because of his two goals! He now has 9 goals this season
