I’m tired of racism,
terrorism, people
losing their lives to
diseases.
I want only a world of peace, happiness, and the simple
things in life that the best pleasure pleases.
No one can forsake the future; it’s like a big tease.
To who opens their hearts can feel this
change in the breeze.
Why can't I live
in a place where
there are no family
struggles or drug hustles?
In this land where people are quick to
assume your style but never once
step back to judge you after they've gotten
to know you for awhile.
We are labeled and contained
telling each of our generations
to do the same; Become rich live
with fame, that's the way to play the game!
Yes, I guess that's what life really is to you?
Having money and getting lucky too.
Well I say...
In that way do you believe dreams
can really come true?
In a world where society plays you?
My mother always said only time can tell;
I guess my times been ticking, yours too as well.
I don't know if I can go on much longer,
my thoughts are clear when I ponder.
I'm tired of being the victim; I rest
my defense for this “Life” Sitcom.
