She walks down the road,
Her heart beats fast,
The cars rush by,
All too fast.
She's all alone,
No one to care,
She's all alone,
Is anyone there?
She thinks back to the time,
The time when all was bright,
When she had no worries,
And day didn't seem like night.
He told her to hold tight,
To never let go,
But he left her for another girl,
She can't take this anymore.
So now she walks this road,
Her heart beating fast,
All those cars rush by,
Much, much too fast.
Maybe if someone would slow down,
If someone took time to care,
She would feel loved again,
And her heart wouldn't feel so bare.
So now she walks this street,
Hoping someone nice she will meet.

Hannah Horror's poems.
Pretty much mostly poetry that I write when I'm bored.
