Heli
A helicopter. It amazes me that a helicopter could scare me--just a bit--safe in my room as I was. Well, last night around 11:10, I heard the sound of a helicopter as I tried to go to sleep. It usually happens once in a while so I wasn't really worried. I was thinking of why it was flying around--right over my house--quite loudly and someone in it was announcing something I couldn't hear/understand. It could have been because some bad person was running around, being dangerous, or because some helpless person had walked out of the house and away from people who were taking care of them. As I thought of the former, I got a little worried.
My room is the one facing the street but I wasn't that afraid because I knew nothing would happen. Both of my brothers had fallen asleep in the living room--one on the couch and the other on the reclining chair. The living room is connected to our room addition, which has a sliding glass door that can easily be broken... But I promise I was only thinking like this because I was half asleep... Anyway, the helicopter was still flying over/near our house 30 minutes later. I couldn't believe that both my parents were still asleep, my mom snoring, with the helicopter that seemed so loud flying around for that long. I still don't know why it was there last night, but it finally went away around midnight--I know because my watch beeped the hour.
