THE JOYS OF PARENTHOOD
mother hears her children yell
decides to drown them in a well
says mother as she grabs the third
tell no one, not a single word
when dad arrives mum runs and hides
she's not yet sure how he should die
then on the tractor she does jump
and dad is down with one big THUMP
if he is dead she does not know
so she gives the tractor one last go
that same day when aunty comes
mother fiddles, blushes, hums
"where are the children, the little brats-
and what do u plan to do with that!?"
but alas she was too slow
and aunty was the next to go
says mother as she cleans the knife
i much prefer the quiet life
sitting with a glass of wine- she smiles
"this life suits me just fine"
i wrote this in yr 7 and it got commended when i entered it a comp ^_^
