Okay, one more fight scene. This is gonna be another one. Hm... I better stop that music I'm listening to. If anyone has any music that sounds like fight music, let me know. I need it a lot!

Sindri turned slowly when Fenix spoke to him. He shrugged the hand off of his shoulder to look at Fenix and Rin through his visor. With incredible speed, he punched Fenix in the gut, sending him backward a few feet until he fell to the ground.

Fenix landed with a thump, gaining his breath back while Sindri just turned around to face the lake once more. Rin raced through her mind to try and find a good genjutsu. She finally found one that would make sense in this situation. She cast a genjutsu while behind Sindri. It was supposed to make him see a illusional Fenix dash straight at the lake and stop in front of him. Sindri just snickered at the poor attempt to fool him; this was the first sound he's made since arriving at the place. He did some hand signs to create a small water spiral and make it go at Rin.

Fenix saw the danger and hopped up to take the blow with both arms crossed in a guard. His forearms now stung with red skin where the water spiral hit. Part of the leaf ninja's body was also wet.

He said, "So, you're stronger than I thought." He coughed from losing his breath before then spoke up again, "But I'm still taking you down." He dashed at Sindri with daggered-knuckles in his hands and cut at Sindri's head. This S-rank ninja slightly moved to the right and spun around to attempt a strike at the back of Fenix's neck with a forearm.

But Fenix put his hands on the ground and spun to do a sweeping broom kick at the back of Sindri's knees. This worked, making him buckle his knees and fall backwards on the ground with his legs now sweeped from under him. Fenix had swept all the way through and brought his leg his in the air, ready to come down onto Sindri with an axe kick. When he came down with the kick, a trail of chakra came from it and the ground seemed to explode in dirt. A dust cloud was not left.

Sindri had moved at the last second, but the huge explosion still got to him a bit, making him go about a foot. He stood up and wobbled a bit from his knees getting hurt. With another series of hand signs, he sent two water spirals at Rin and Fenix.

With his chakra being focused, Fenix cut through the spiral with his daggered-knuckles having extended chakra edges. With another quick glance, he saw that Rin had run at Sindri with a kunai drawn out and slashed at his face. This made a small scratch in the metal as he dodged at the very last second. Sindri felt his mask for the scratch in it and sighed. He then made hand signs for water sharks to come out of the water at the two. Four came out of the water, two for each one.

Fenix quickly made two slashes at these sharks with his knuckles. But then the dagger part cracked just a small bit. Not enough to break next time, but they would eventually if they kept slashing at these sharks. Rin countered these sharks with some good chakra focused uppercut punches to their jaws.

"That'll show those sharks who's the boss," Rin said, rubbing her knuckles. She then glared back at Sindri. She told Fenix, "Get your claws out. I want to see what this guy's face looks like!"

Fenix smirked and put away his metal knuckles, taking out his claws. He said, "I'd be glad to. Normally, I want a guy to shut up after blabbing his mouth off. But this one won't even speak a single word to us." With more speed than usual, he sprint at Sindri and clawed at his face mask. Sindri didn't see it coming but moved his face back. Again, with chakra control, Fenix extended the reach of his claws and hooked the mask. With a good flick of the wrist, he scratched Sindri's real face and took the mask off.

"Ah, we finally see what this guy's face is like. So, are you finally going to talk to us?" Fenix asked Sindri with his hands on hips while the used-to-be-masked ninja Sindri wobbled backwards holding his face.

The long brown hair that used to be over the mask now lay just over his eyes, but not long enough to cover them fully. Right now, his pupils were black and his iris was color was gray. It seemed almost as if he was blind.

Rin stammered, "A-are you blind?" She was amazed at this sight she beheld.

Sindri finally let out a loud laugh in the silence that was held between all of them. He stared at each leaf shinobi and said with a voice that seemed to be gentle for a guy, "So, you got off my mask. That's a surprise. Most anyone could do is scratch it." He did some hand signs that made a water vortex start up out of the water behind him. With a smirk, he stated, "I'm not going easy anymore."

Fenix noticed that the vortex was pointed at Rin and not him. He yelled at Rin, "Rin! Move out of the way!" By the time he yelled this, the vortex started swirling past Sindri towards his female opponent. Fenix ran at Rin and jumped at her to push her out of the way. But it happened at the last minute and the vortex reached them at the point Fenix grabbed Rin. He tucked her in and they both fell back into the edge of the forest.

Fenix uncurled and lay with Rin in his arms. She had had enough action. Her body started to bruise and cut multiple times. Although she had gotten less of everything Fenix got, she was less enduring than him and was a long range ninja more than anything.

Fenix asked his wife, "Are you okay, Rin?" Both of their bodies were soaked in water and some even mud.

Rin coughed, "Y-yeah. I-I'm okay. I'll try some of my genjutsu from this range. I'll be more safer. I'm going to try and get closer whenever it's possible."

Fenix hugged her and said, "Rin, you don't have to fight any longer today. You've done your best." He thought this would be best to protect Rin.

"No, I haven't. I can still help you from out here. I don't have to get close. You can do the close-range fighting while I hit with some genjutsu." She pushed Fenix away and clutched his hand, making more plans with him. They kissed and Fenix walked away to Sindri with anger on his mind, but he cleared it after getting close enough to the S-rank criminal.

Sindri spat onto the wet ground beside him, "Pfft. Love is weird. I don't know why you would do that for each other." His arms were behind his head, side to Fenix, and looking at him.

"I guess you've never felt love, Sindri. It's a shame. I guess you never will if you keep your act up," Fenix said, glaring at his strong foe.

"If that's what loves does for me, I don't care much for it. I'd much rather die in search of power. But that won't be happening." He lunged at Fenix with his eyes becoming sharingan with a hazel color instead of its normal red. The mud on the ground shot out at Fenix in a small spiral. But it was all done with one hand sign, and it came out in all directions at him. Then Sindri came the top with two kunai and stabbed him in the head.

Although it seemed like an easy win, Fenix turned to mud. It had been a mud clone. The real Fenix was back to back with Sindri, polishing his nails on his shirt.

He said, "Cool trick, huh? I learned it after one kages created it. Who would've thought of making clones out of mud?"

Sindri didn't let this anger him and quickly stabbed backwards with one hand. Fenix turned with the strike and turned the other way, grabbing the first strike as a second one came at him. He forced Sindri into a lock that couldn't be come out of since he entered the first gate: The Gate of Opening. As the second one came to the front, Fenix grabbed it and put a lock on it, going the same way as the first. He quickly buckled Sindri's knees and brought him to the floor to take him out. Suddenly, a burning came on Fenix's hands. Sindri started to summon some type of new chakra that wasn't normal!

Fenix yelled out to Rin, "Quickly! He's burning my hands and starting to weaken the lock!"

Rin performed some hand signs and a slumber came upon Sindri before he could summon anymore chakra or escape. Fenix yelled once more, "Quickly! Give me a needle!" Rin through a needle from the forest to just over Fenix's head. He grabbed it between two fingers and struck Sindri in the neck. This made him conciously dead. He would stay this way for a while until he woke up after about one hour. Hopefully, the team would be able to take him away at that time.

With his hands burned, Fenix quickly focused internal chakra to them to heal them once more. He swiftly ran over to Rin and healed the small cuts and bruises she had with his "Healing Hands Jutsu".

"That was sure close," Fenix said, looking back over to Sindri, who now lay unconcious.

Rin agreed with a stammer, "Y-yeah. But Toukun's about to kill Asuka!" She pointed in the direction with worry.

"Snap! We forgot about them!" Fenix yelled as he sprang up from his seat beside Rin. He ran about fifty meters in two seconds and tackled Toukun before he could stab Asuka.

Asuka has been saved, Rin is healed, and Sindri is knocked out. But what will become of Fenix and Toukun as their rivalled fight now happens after a six year delay. Who will win? Find out next time on another action-packed chapter of Secret of the Village of the Whirlpool! Man! That's a mouthful!
