If you reall want to get to know me ^^ go ahead and read this blaugh

Friday January 13, 1989. My mother was rushed into the hospital around 4:30 in the morning. Carrying a precious treasure, she is taken into the emergency room. Half an hour later the doctor comes out to tell my father “It’s a girl.” With all the excitement in the world my father said “Claudia, Claudia Hernandez is her name.”
I was born and raised in Mexico, to be more precise in Orizaba, Veracruz. Six years later I started my school life in pre-kinder, like any other kid I was really excited and nervous about attending school for the first time. I loved school in those days, because I would live my life without a care in the world, everyday would be a new adventure waiting for me. Most of my childhood I was very active and still am, I would be up and down the playground with the boys. I tended to hang out with the guys since I was raised between two boys. In elementary I always participated in outdoor activities without a second thought, I dived into my everyday adventures and later get praised for my hard work…until my class work showed the opposite. Once my mother found out, she took matters into her own hands. She made sure I learned all my subjects well since she studied to become a teacher over in Mexico. Boy that year sure was a pain, I was not allowed to move from a stool until I had memorized my times-table correctly. Thanks to my mother’s tutoring and discipline I have been successful in school.
Three years later right before I turned 10, my mom tells me that we are finally going to visit my dad who had moved to California in search for a better job to support his family. Little did I know that that visit would be permanent and changed my life. When I left my country I was about to finish 3rd grade, but once we arrived to California my mother signed my little brother and myself to attend school. That was when my brother and I were set back a year. The school secretary convinced my mother “that by holding us back it would allow us to learn English faster,” so my brother and I were held back to repeat 3rd and 2nd grade. And so a year older than our classmates, my brother and I started school here in California. Just like always, I was very active in physical education but this time determined to do well with my school work as well. All the teachers that have met me say I’m a good kid, cooperative, energetic, pleasant to have around, I guess you can say they meant “kind-hearted” because I never fought or argued with anyone to the extend that we would never talk to each other again. Everyday I showed my manners that I had been taught, obeyed and respected not only my peers but my classmates as well.
Even today, I continue to approach my education the same way. Although I may not be as excited about it like I used to, I try to make the best of it. During my high school years I have took on CP classes a long with AP classes and have done exceptionally well in all of them. I have managed to be successful academically, even though I have soccer practice everyday for an hour or two. Specially now that the season has started, I have to stay after school for practice leaving me with less time to do my school work. Even after practice I still have to run back home help mom with the house chores to avoid her from getting on my case but still ends up doing so. As I grow older, now I am being held accountable for all my decisions and actions. All my work is done for a reason, a goal and that is to get a higher education to make something out of my life. Like I said before, I continue to work hard, get my work done no matter what and challenge myself for what the future throws my way.
Claudia Hernandez is the name, but everyone calls me by my first name. I’m about to turn 19 in January, but that does not mean I a flunked a grade, I was simply held back so I could learn English faster since I came from Mexico. Sports, is one of my favorite hobbies but I do not get to do it often I wish I could do everyday. My body may not show it but I’m an energetic and active girl, I like to play sports in which everyone is involve and competitive. I love to get a good work out when the time and weather are perfect. At the moment I’m in two soccer teams the school’s team and Imperio a team outside the school’s program. I have been in the school’s team for 2 years, last year as a Junior Varsity player and my senior year as a Varsity player. This year we are aiming to become CIF champions for the 3rd time in a row, and as for Imperio its my first year as a player in the team. This past summer we won the championship of Lancaster United Youth Soccer Organization we won almost all our games with a score of 5 goals or more to zero. That summer was the most exciting, because I had never experience the environment of a tournament before. I have been able to continue playing thanks to my mom and dad since he is a big fan of the sport and used to be a soccer player himself, I guess I know where my genes for soccer came from. I really appreciate my mom’s discipline through out these past 12 years of my life although they sometimes get really annoying but thanks to them I have turned up to be a successful and healthy teenager.
Most of my family was born and raised in Mexico. I come from a really, really big family but my family consists of five people, I live with both parents and I have two brothers an older and younger one. Oh! And we can‘t forget about my dog Chispo, who has been living with me for the past 7 years. Both my parents are hard working people, they will work extra hours to have enough money to get the things my brothers and me may need. My mom is the strict parent, she is the one that gets on my brothers case as well as mine when it comes to our grades and when house chores while my dad is the calm and cool one. He is the smart one, because he tends to avoid getting into arguments with my mom by cleaning the front yard or others chores that need to be done. My brothers, both of them can be a real pain in the neck. So to avoid getting in trouble with them I simply staying in my room doing homework, using the internet or playing my brother’s PS2. I spend most of my time in my room since I hardly get to go out with my friends, mom constantly tells me about the dangers out in the street and that everything she does is for our own good. In school I hang out with my 3 closest friends April, Crystal and Linda. We all have a lot in common making it much more fun to hang out with each other and worth while. Chispo is half Doberman and half Chihuahua in other words a mixed breed . He is the one who is always by my side when I’m in the house, he even sleeps with me and we keep each other warm in cold winter nights like the ones we are currently having. But he can sure be a pain, I’m left to clean after, giving a bath, walk him and feed him everyday for the rest of his life. As we all know you have to like both the good stuff and the bad stuff. Even though they may all get on my nerves, I have to admit that thanks to them I am who I am today they all have contributed to make what I am today even if it was just a little.

So yeah what u people think? cool
