GOD DAMN!!! How many users constantly come to Gaia?! I know there are billions of people in the world, but jeez! This page is one of the many reasons why the novelty on gaia has almost completely worn out. Sometimes I hate being part of a popular thing. It was like Naruto and Bleach for me. I loved those two animes until EVERYONE thought it was the best thing next to sliced bread! I have yet to even care about those two animes anymore and I question any other anime I enjoy, fearing they will go the same path.

"Hi, I'm new." "Hi, I'm new. Please add me as a friend." "Hi, I'm new. PLease give me Gold" "Hi, I'm new. Looking for bf/gf." Really, do we really need this page?! Your new, we get it! Is it really worth our attention to see a new Gaian spawned every minute?! Yes we were all new once and probably the majority of us posted here first.....but why is it that most of the new users seem to never leave this page (or even their first thread) for a good month!

And then there are the 'helper' users who have taken it apon themselves to 'help' the new Gaians. Do they truely help us? NO! All they ever do is saying it's ok to add them to their friend's list. the only time they ever do anything is answering a VERY common question. THATS IT. They only answer the 'how'to do something, never assist them. So whats typical conversation of a new user and a 'helper' user? Well here is is:

New: "So how can I get new clothes for my avi?

Helper: "You need to get Gold to buy new items and clothes."

New: "Neat, but how do I get Gold?

Helper: "Do anything you want. Post, play collect, and sell. It's very easy to make gold on Gaia." (I'm trying to to laugh here)

New: Ok, I've done all that. You don't get alot for posting. The starter sets dont look nice and the cheep clothes don't look all that good either. Do you think you can help in getting some gold so I can buy clothes to not look like a noob?"

Helper: Pfft, NO! I had to earn every penny! That's my gold, not yours! Earn it yourself! Don't be such a begger!"

*end scene*

Usually the last line is said at a much kinder tone, but it's all the same. So, do we need this page? Sort of, since we all need to start somewhere. Do we need to care about this page? Not in the very least! If your new, just say Hi and leave. If you arn't, avoid, avoid, avoid. It's also kind of funny to see so MANY wrong subjects posted on this page. Go look for yourself, but try not to get involved.

In short: For new users, a wonderful place to start. To everyone else, this page is easly forgotten.
