About one year ago, when Takon still resided in the Village Hidden in the Rain, he was different than he is nowdays...He was nicer, and a better person. He had always been like that, at least, when Hikari was alive. Hikari was one of Takon's best friends, along with Daisuke. At this time, Takon was as happy as a camper, until that one fateful mission..
One day, the Mizukage needed to have an escort done. The Mizukage's assistant had precious information the Akatsuki's plans, and whereabouts. So, the Mizukage ordered Team TH to do the mission. Little did they know, they were being watched by the Akatsuki during the mission. Deidara and Sasori were in charge of assassinating the Mizukage's assisstant.
During the mission, team TH made contact with Sasori and Deidara. Unaware of their powers, the the chuunin foolishly charged straight for them. The mission went downhill from there. The three didn't stand a chance, and during the battle, everyone except Takon was slaughtered by Sasori and Deidara. Daisuke died in an explosion from Deidara, and Sasori literally slaughtered Hikari and the Mizukage's assistant in front of his very eyes.
Takon ran after what he witnessed. He couldn't believe his eyes, but knew he would surly have died if he had stayed any moment later. Ever since then, Takon had always hated. He couldn't find it out of the kindness of his heart, not to hate.
This takes place one year before Shippuuden.
