8-2 Win
Game Preview: Montreal will look to win their 9th straight against Boston. They have won five out of five games against Boston this season. Cristobal Huet will be in net for the third time against the Bruins. Michael Ryder has taken back his place on the first line, while Guillaume Latendresse will play with Mathieu Dandenault and his best buddy on the team, Maxim Lapierre. Steve Begin is expected to play on the third with Sergei Kostitsyn and I think is Brian Smolinski. Guy Carbonneau said he was looking to look for a spark with his line juggling. Tim Thomas has learned he will participate in the All-Star game.
1st period Intermission: 4-1 Montreal after 1 period! I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E... Simply incredible... What a great start from Montreal; Two huge goals and not even 5 minutes in! After that timeout called by Claude Julien, The Bruins seemed to be working harder, and it payed off. It's too bad for Auld though. Huet didn't have much to do though. I am really wondering why the fans are booing Zdeno Chara each time he touches the puck... The Powerplay seems to be sleeping deeply. Description of Goals: With 14 seconds in the game and the first period, Tom Kostopoulos scored spinning on a rebound from Steve Begin's shot. It says the goal was unassisted so Kostopoulos got the only point. 1-0 Montreal. About three minutes later, Michael Ryder tipped in a shot from Saku Koivu. Streit picks up a point. 2-0 Montreal. Boston's Marco Sturm scores. 2-1 Montreal. Andrei Kostitsyn gets in front of the net just in time to tip in Mike Komisarek's shot. 3-1 Montreal. With 1.1 second left in the game, Maxim Lapierre gets his 3rd of the year. The younger Kostitsyn gets a point. 4-1 Montreal.
2nd Intermission: 6-1 Montreal after 40 minutes. It's official, I'm ******** afraid of the Habs right now... Amazing, simply amazing! Don't know where to start! Only 7 players do not have a point, but only three does not have a +/-. Alex Kovalev loses his glove that is near the puck, he picks up his glove, dekes with the puck all of that with one hand on his stick... what a guy... what a guy... Man! The only negative thing I can find is that Higgins didn'y get a point so far! Komisarek and Markov both have a +4, but Komi has 2 points... Huet has saved us when needed... which was rarely... Seems like the goaltender change up didn't do much for Boston but Thomas has been better... I'm really surprise that Lucic didn't make anything happen with Komo. Description of goals: Steve Begin goes behind the net, passes to Brian Smolinski passing in front of the net and scores top shelf! Tom Kostopoulos gets the other assist. 5-1 Montreal. Mike Komisarek scores in front of the net after he got the puck from Tomas Plekanec. Andrei Kostitsyn gets his second point of the night. 6-1 Montreal.
Final: Montreal wins it 8-2! Total Domination, absolute domination! Six straight wins against the Boston Bruins this season. This was a really good game. 13 players with atleast one point. One of those who didn't get one was Higgins... It's really too bad he didn't get even one. The crowd congratulates their team with many many cheers. Offensively, I don't have much to say. The score speaks for itself. Defensively, once again, the score speaks for itself. Huet was amazing. He made really huge saves to make us win with only two goals allowed. The game ended about 14 seconds in the game. PS: Smolinski and Begin got assists on the first goal. Description of goals: Alex Kovalev snipes from his normal spot, the faceoff circle. It bounces off Aaron Ward's leg. Streit and Markov gets assists. 7-1 Montreal. Boston's #56 scores. 7-2 Montreal. Andrei Kostitsyn gets his second goal of the night on a Powerplay. His brother and Streit got assists.

Scoresheet: Montreal: Tom Kostopoulos, Michael Ryder, Andrei Kostitsyn (2 goals), Maxim Lapierre, Brian Smolinski, Mike Komisarek, Alex Kovalev. Boston: Marco Sturm, Petterri Nokelainen
