Well it's just another day in paradise, waking up to no sun until 9am and it's always fun to trip over the wires to the SAD light. For those not in the know, it's a light that simulates sunlight so us beanheads that choose to live in this place don't get depressed....it doesn't work much. Well this weekend is halloween, waahooo! I love Halloween, The drag queens get to make me up and I look like a veritable Spenard Hooker. eek
I do love halloween, it seems like the only time of year that those of us that like the dark things of life *waggles brows* can merge with the straights and it's cool. I can go into Denny's in my black velvet gown with a leather corset and dark make up and they don't look at me like a nut case. Well the Denny's I go to that late at night, they know me anyway so.... Tonight I will carry around the "pink monster". The lucite rod that I use to pop backsides with when someone makes me none to happy. I'm sure all the queens and my leather boys will lose their minds over that.
My moose are back again, this time the female had her two babies, the yearling and a newbie from this year. I'm sure she'll nudge out the yearling soon to be on his own. Gads, it's amazing how huge those things are. The momma is as tall as a small truck. eek The baby one looks like a small horse. I don't have much of a yard, but to see it filled up with three moose....well I have to wait until they decide to move to get out anywhere. They are down for the winter, the snows from the higher elevations forcing them to come down and chew up my bushes.
I hope they like the ketchup and candy corn I left out for them.
