So, I bought a cactus at the Farmer's Market this fall because it was really, really cute and I wanted to take care of something while I was at school. For my winter break, I had five weeks off and since it would be hard to take a plant onto a plane, I left it here for the janitor to take care of.
I came back and my cactus was 1/4 of her normal size. She looked wilted and deprived of water and sunlight.
A little while ago, I tried to gently nudge her back up into a less slouchy position and she fell completely over out of the dirt.
I just killed my cactus. ;-;
I also just spent ten minutes digging a hole in the little pot she's in with a spoon to replant her and try to bring her back to life.
I watered her and now she's sitting in the window. Hopefully she's still alive...
Everything I touch dies. gonk
