Do you really think that I am to be the first chair flutist? Do you REALLLY think that in honors band, I can play Mr. John Philip Sousa's Nobles of the Mystic Shrine and not crash and burn? Mr. Lewis, did you have cotton and wax stuffing up your ear while I had my horrible playing test? My tone in there was worthy of its own horror movie. Lets not forget that one song, Heartbeat Five. Now Mr. Lewis, I do think I have down the flutter but everything else isn't quite as good. As much as I love band, I cannot do these pieces. The only song I find fit to my level is Poéme. Anyways, right now I am unable to play because I shall have a coughing attack in the middle of our two hour practice at the school your daughter attends at. (NOT my school, so I will be unable to get a drink for the drinking fountains will most likely hide from me as a cruel joke) I do think that I could write an entire book on things to say about band. I quizas I should make money from that book of band complaints. No, Mr. Lewis I do not hate band. In fact I love it. Its probably the only good class, but I am just not fit for this music. Anyways, that's about all I want to say (mainly because I'm babbling about band.)
