This fan fiction is slowly coming to an end. Hopefully, I'll post the next chapter tomorrow since this one moved kind of slow. But I hope you still like this one. Enjoy!

Fenix crawled his way over to his unconcious spouse, and then he made his way in between the two girls. With the little strength he had, the leaf ninja Fenix pulled them into him for a hug.

He whispered, "I don't know if this is our last moment together, but I do know that I want to spend it with you two." He hugged them tighter then let go.

Fenix passed glowing, chakra filled hands over his team mates' unconcious bodies to slowly revive them from their half dead stare. He smiled with joy in his face as the girls began to grumble.

Rin and Asuka stared at Fenix exhaustedly. Rin began, "Sindri used the Mangekyo Sharingan on us."

"Yeah, he took us by suprise," Asuka pleaded softly right after Rin. Fenix pet their heads and combed their hair through his fingers to calm them.

Fenix said, "It's okay, girls. You did your best. That's all I ask for. That, and for you to stay alive." He kissed Asuka's forehead, then he laid his lips upon Rin's.

Sindri made the whirlpool bigger and bigger until the first thing seen was the tallest building of the village. He smirked with happiness and evil. Colm and him were now as close as ever to getting the secret for themselves.

Senshi flew over the three leaf shinobi to his master Toukun with the book from the Come Come Paradise series. The raven dropped the book in front of Toukun's face.

The former sand shinobi pat the bird on the head and said, "Good bird." Toukun slowly sat up with the book in his hands, hidden from Asuka's sight; she's already seen him with the book multiple times now.

Asuka asked tired, "Fenix... can you carry me over to Toukun, please?" Fenix grinned and nodded at the request. He stood up with a stumble. Then he picked up Asuka and carried her over to Toukun with her cradled in his arms. He sat her down beside the rogue ninja then slowly walked back to his spouse with a grin on his face.

Fenix sat beside Rin and let her lean her head on his shoulder. Though they were both tired and beaten up, it was a memorable moment.

Sindri's mission was almost accomplished now that the village was half-way risen. He let out a maniacal laugh as the whirpool sunk into the sides of the lake and disappeared without a trace.

Toukun turned his head away and placed his book to the right of him with his sword. Asuka was so exhausted that she just fell onto his left shoulder.

She said, "I know about the book, Toukun. There's no need to hide it anymore." Asuka watched her mission fail as Sindri raised the village up to three-fourths.

Toukun still looked away. "I-I... I just needed something to fill the void."

"What void would that be?" she asked in return.

The village was finally raised, and shiobi burst out in surprise. Sindri was the first to get knocked out without a sense of what was going on.

Toukun answered his lover, "It's the void of..." he couldn't finish since he and Asuka were knocked out at the same time. Seconds later, Fenix and Rin were also knocked unconcious.

Asuka, Rin, and Fenix woke up at approximately the same time. They were tied down and in seperate hospital beds. They all stared at each other in confusion.

Toukun was located in a room seperate of Sindri and the leaf ninja that was enclosed. Senshi was caged up beside him, though.
