I may not be smart.
I may not have many skills.
I may not have the power to do awesome things at will.

I may not be able to sing.
I may not be that pretty.
I know I'm no perfect thing.

I know I'm quite dim.
I know I'm quite...slow.
I know I'm the type most would just skim.

But there's something else.
Something that made you think.
Something that made you look twice.

I don't know what it could be.
I don't know what it was.
I'm just glad it was me.

You're sweeter than most,
and silent as the night,
but with the right to boast.

You've got your heart in place,
and your head on your shoulders.
Almost as pure as the smile on your face.

I know I'm not right,
I'm quite a bit rude,
not all that polite.

Maybe it was the light.
I can't say what it was.
But I was honored to say "I love you" tonight.

A million faces in a crowd,
through all you saw mine,
and sent me into the clouds.

I may not be strong,
I may not be smart.
But if anything's true,
it must be this part.
