I am currently spending my Valentine's eating cold spaghetti and drinking plumb wine with sake while I read some of my favorite mangas and books. I felt like I needed to treat myself a little since I worked all day in such a nice outfit with my new earrings any everything (speaking of which, I'm going to need another strategy toward healing my ears. They looked really bad today sweatdrop Damn my sensitive skin). It was nice to be complimented by everyone, though. It's just nice to know that I'm not completely hideous. I'm always so convinced of my flaws (even though I shouldn't be. I know, I'm stupid/blind/useless/overly critical).

Still single. As always. I'm beginning to wonder if it's some sort of universal constant. My marital status will always remain changeless, because it is a Fact. Yes, I've had people ask me out, but it's always been people that I would never think of in such a way (or people who I just can't stand for longer than 10 minutes). I don't mind watching the couples enjoy themselves, despite my own factors, though. It's cute, really, and I am a person who is not normally into cute things. Yeah, yeah, I'm a hopeless romantic, screw you guys.

I think the worst/best/funniest part of Valentine's is the fact that I can enjoy the holiday just fine, but when someone asks me if I have a 'special someone' to enjoy it with, I don't hesitate to tell them to ******** off. (Yeah, I went off-topic a little there, but this is MY journal and I'm tipsy, so screw you...again. You are doubly screwed now).

Will this stop me from enjoying Valentine's? ******** no! I'm going to enjoy Valentine's the way it's supposed to be enjoyed when you're single: getting ******** wasted and reading books with beer goggles (yeah, you wouldn't think they'd go together, but when your imagination kicks-in with the booze...). Now if you'll excuse me, there is a sake bottle calling me (the plumb wine is a bit too sweet, so I think I'll go dry tonight).

Happy Valentine's Day, guys! If you've got someone, I hate you have fun! If not, I hope you took the time to get smashed too, otherwise I'm going to make sure you do it by this weekend. WOO HOO!
