I looked about the room more carefully, the only light came from candles lining the walls of the room, I counted six mirrors along the walls witch where a bronze color. I had a night side table and the bed was made for a single person.
I waited for what seemed to be fifteen minutes when Natsuma came in with a bowl of soup placing it on the bed side, “you know….” She paused to think her next words over, “…. Oh never mind.” She changed her mind. I took the bowl of soup and picked up the spoon, “careful its hot.” She smiled, she started to leave the room, “I have some matters to attend to, please stay in bed.” She smiled and left. I took a sip of the soup, witch tasted like chicken noodle.
A short time after I finished the soup I drifted back to sleep.
There was a loud thud noise and then several voices talking amongst each other as I opened my eyes. Natsuma came in quickly after, “can you stand.” There were faint screams in the distance. She helped me up, “if you can keep up stay quite and stay out of sight.” It felt good to be standing again but my body felt sluggish. I followed her into a poorly lit core door, another thud came this time sounding closer Haid was standing at an intersection in the core door hunched over.
“this way quick.” He whispered pointing to a trap door.
“what’s going on?” I asked feeling terrified.
“there’s an attack going on now hurry!” Natsuma said dragging me onto the hidden stairway in the trap door, it was lit even darker. Haid followed closing the trap door and flipping a switch, a loud noise came and light started to turn on, the lights were electrical this time and a red tint to them, they led me down the stair way as the metal part became stone.
“Natsuma, its alright to speak normally now, where far enough down for our voices to be hidden, Haid said.
“I agree, I hope everyone is alright.” She said with worry.
“can some one explain to me what’s going on in detail?!” I demanded.
