I'm not really into politics, (even though I can vote) but, I'd probably choose either Paul, Obamma, or Lanzer The Great. An odd mix, yes, but that's just how I roll xD I mean, Paul seems like an okay guy and wants to stick to the constitution, and Obamma seems like a good person. And Lanzer is a Gaia God xD

*dances* biggrin

i feel that people don't know enough about the other candidates to vote wisely. I will vote for Ron Paul. look him up.

yesss, politics.

But, if Obama suddenly dies or something, I'd vote Ron Paul, most of my friends are voting for him.

emo /b/ has turned me into a total f**, all I can think of is Ron Paul.

I won't pretend to know too much about the particular candidates as I haven't been keeping up with it all... However, from what I know I would pick either McCain or Ron Paul. However I would vote for ANY Republican over any Democrat.

I voted for Ron Paul in the primaries, but only because Dennis Kucinich was forced out of the running. I wouldn't vote for McCain, because he's kinda scary, and Huckabee would probably make it illegal to not go to church. Clinton is the only viable democrat in the running, in my opinion, since Obama is too inexperienced, and his advisers have shady records at best - one of them, if I remember correctly, is all for wiping Palestine off the map. Scary, that.

So give me 16 years and I'll run for President myself (assuming our country hasn't collapsed under its our ego by then).

And to the person who spoke of Obama not saying the pledge, neither do I - or, rather, I skip the "under god" part, as I feel it in inappropriate for a nation that is SUPPOSED to have separation of church and state, even if it's ignored by most politicians and even citizens.

Personally, I'm going to vote for Ron Paul. Given his track record and him having actual plans that might feasibly work for the economy and social issues, and the fact that he's constitutionally sound and for limited government and states' rights, I think he's really the best candidate. Seems like everyone I like is always a dark horse candidate. Nader, Peroutka, now Paul...jeez, am I SO out of touch with American reality?

In all seriousness though, the main reason I'm supporting Ron Paul now is because he's the only candidate who can fix our economical problem. As of now, the US is $48 trillion in debt. No, you did not misread that. Do you know how much that is? That's $161,287 per man, woman and child - - or $645,148 per family of 4, $45,514 more debt per family than last year.

Ron Paul is the only remaining candidate who plans to severely decrease US spending. Not to mention the fact that he's the only candidate who's resolute on pulling out of Iraq within a year.

All that "hope" and "change" from Obama is complete and utter BS when you compare him to Ron Paul. I like Obama's idea of free healthcare -- IN THEORY. I don't think it'd work in the US though, especially considering the fact that our government can't afford free healthcare. At least Hillary (as much as I hate and despise her) realizes this, as she plans to draw money from our wages to fund for universal healthcare.

Right. So McCain is a sleezeball, Clinton is on psychiatric drugs, Obama supports putting preganant women on psychiatric drugs AND wants to put our tax money towards funding mortages that dumb and lazy people bought KNOWING they couldn't pay them off. Ron Paul seems to be the only one who cares about the people and who's decisions are SANE. AND he doesn't want the war, even though he's republican! It's a miracle! So my vote is for him. Sorry Lanzer. XD

The media hates Ron Paul for the same reason a lot of Americans do -- they think he's a "joke candidate," that he's "crazy," although his ideas make more sense to me than any other candidates'. rolleyes Honestly, I think it's because he's considered rather extremist, since he wants to completely reform our economy and such, and many people think this is too big of a change.

Too much change can be scary for some people.

So instead they HOPE for CHANGE because they know that YES THEY CAN. rolleyes

Might I say that the city I live in, Lancaster, PA, is one of the greatest supporters of Ron Paul in the country and I am whole-heartedly proud that I live here. If you believe in an America that is true to what it was when we were born, you would do well to support him too. Every time I see a tag on a bus stop advertisment or a giant orage dumpster, I smile because I know that at least one city is behind him!

I find it really depressing that people think that all Republicans are like George Bush. ._.

If you look at the candidates, Ron Paul, a REPUBLICAN, is most likely to get the nation out of recession. He's the only remaining candidates with plans to return money to the nation instead of increasing spending money.

He's the only candidate who will pull out of Iraq within a year. Hillary and Obama both want to wait until 2013.

Paul believes that we need to tighten border control to prevent illegal immigration. Obama doesn't mind illegal immigration, and believes that they should be able to apply for citizenship.

The only parts where Ron Paul's ideas and your conflict are over abortion and gay marriage, both of which he believes should be left up to the state to decide (although he's personally pro-life, as a obstetrician).

Oh yeah. You know, I have so many disagreements with most of the candidates, and so many things I'm really passionate about in regards to Ron Paul's policies, he has my full support even with our disagreements.

Here's a guy with excellent policies overall, and damned smart to boot, and people would like to complain over one or two policies they disagree on him with.
