Abilities: Kyler, since she is an experiment, has many attributes of the animal she was fused with. The most notable by far is her wings. This secret has been easier to keep, thanks to an ability to retract her wings into her body. Her wings are a few feet longer than her arm span and allow her to fly. When diving in the air, she is able to reach speeds around 250 miles per hour. Normally a regular human would suffocate and die at that airspeed, but her pharynx has been reconstructed to what can be described like a jet engine. It allows her to breathe what little oxygen, and to make sure that air she breathes doesn't burst her lungs.
Kyler's eyes are sharper than a normal human being. For eye tests, she cheats to pass off as someone with near perfect vision. She doesn't like to have attention drawn to her so she doesn't attempt to over achieve in any physical tests.

[ Face and Hair ]Clothing: Kyler's clothing is nothing big and fancy. Most of the time she doesn't take more than five minutes to get ready. Her style mostly contains, long baggy pants, converse, a two layer shirt combo (a long sleeve and a t-shirt), and her goggles. They look somewhat like
this and always match her outfit.
Her pants are mostly men's jeans that are too large for her but have a lot of pockets. It's normally jeans or cargo pants in dark green or some other dark color.
Her shirt combo always a combo, unless she has to dress up nice for like, court. Underneath is a black/dark color long sleeve shirt with a t-shirt with some kind of pattern/logo/bright color.
Shoes wise, she has about a million converse and collects them. She keeps them in a box and almost never wears the same pair. It's just, 'pull-out-a-shoe-and-pray-that-it's-a-left-and-a-right-shoe' method. Mostly it's two different pairs of shoes.
The goggles she wears mostly stay on top of her head. As in the picture, they are oval shaped and he has all different colors of it. She wears them whenever she flies.
Personality: Kyler is a very solitary person. Even though her bright smile and charming personality may seem to attract people, she pushes them away. It's more of this feeling of protecting a person than anything else. She has a constant fear that Shredder and the Foot will come back after her and doesn't want anyone to get hurt.
Her love life so far just sucks. Besides the little crushes in high school (like everyone else), she has never really loved anyone. One reason is the Shredder/Foot reason but the reason she always uses is that she is looking for the right one still. Like the falcon, she is looking for one person to marry and be with for the rest of her life. In a world of rising divorce rates, its a lingering fear that one will tear her family apart.
Kyler has a very very bad habit of going onto high rise buildings and just sitting on the edge. It's not like it's dangerous for her. If she were to fall she would catch herself. It relaxes her when she is stressed.
Meat is absolutely Kyler's favorite food in the entire world. Like a carnivore, she will choose meats over veggies any day. The preferred meats is any kind of fowl. Chicken, duck, quail, anything. Though the occasion hamburger is always welcomed. When low on money, she will drive to a secluded area and catch her own birds. Since one of her passions is cooking, she is not afraid to try new things. Her meat is always as close to pink as safety regulations will allow.
History: Kyler grew up in the Pacific Northwest where she immersed herself in the culture. Coffee, rain, and more rain was what she learned to love the most. Excelling in school, in her spare time she took up tae kwon do and some kendo. Everything seemed to go right in her life. Perfect grades, bunch of friends, and an easy life ahead of her. But that all changed on her 15th birthday when her parents announced their divorce. Packing up her clothes and items, she left with her father to New York.
The move was hard on Kyler. Her grades began to drop and she became the outcast: the easy target to pick on. Starting high school, she decided to stop moping around and began to get the top grades in her class. On her 18th birthday, her father gave her a sword to protect her, by japanese customs, since he was in fact part japanese. It was made just for her and was called, Banshoukaibutsu, meaning Evening Phantom. It is her prized possession. Three months before graduation, she had a full ride scholarship to NYU to pursue a career in medicine and neurology. But a month before graduation, she was abducted by the Foot for their experiments.
After a long and painful process, it was decided that Kyler's genes and DNA was best to combine with a bird. The swift and intelligent peregrine falcon was chosen. After months of intense and painful testing, she was finally, to quote the Shredder 'perfect'. The first chance she got, she made a break for it. The escape was long and it was almost ruined but she was able to make it back home. Her father was able to help her hide her secret and is the only other person who knows of it.
Starting school, Kyler was a different person, and tried to make it through her classes. After a huge 'lift up' from her friends and father she was able to get everything back on track. Soon she decided that she would take the path to being a Medical Examiner/Forensic Pathologist. She now lives in a small apartment in SoHo to stay close to the NYU campus in Greenwich Village. Frequently she practices her kendo and tae kwon do but spends most of her time out and about.
