A good friend of mine taught me how to cheat at puzzles. ^_^' So, there I was, cheating away. I was in the third step of the process and this guy comments, "Wow! You're fast." Eh heh.... I replied, "Well, sometimes they're easy." (Especially if you're cheating! ^_^;; ) And then he challenges me to a race. Oy vey! So, we settled on the puzzle of the week, on the easy level. I swear I didn't cheat. All the same, that's one of the easiest puzzles to build and I've already done it three times. So, I started building and quickly got to 30%. He hadn't yet got past ten. So, I slowed down, let him catch up some while occasionally putting in a piece or two so he wouldn't wonder why I suddenly stopped, and meanwhile lined all the pieces up to where they were supposed to go without actually putting them in. Then I talked to a customer, which let this guy pass me at 55% or so, and then kept up with him from there. When he reached 90% and I was at 80-something, I quickly put in the rest of the pieces and beat him.
I played fair, but I still kind of felt bad. That was sooooo easy and he was evidently having difficulties. It makes me wonder why he bothered to challenge me. Oh well. I got a bonus thingy out of it, so I'm not complaining too much.
