3-1 Loss
Game Preview: Tonight, Canadiens and Anaheim will face each other. The Ducks are the current Stanley Cup Champions. Correy Perry will be out for six week for Anaheim, so their leading goal scorer will be absent against us. Montreal has won two of the three games played so far on this Pacific Division Roadtrip, so this will be the final game that will be played in a Western arena. Carey Price is expected to play even though Jaroslav Halak did well against the Los Angeles Kings.
1st Intermission: It's tied at 1 after 20 minutes in the Honda Center. It's pretty fun to see this game. A really offence from both teams. "This is probably Montreal's best first period in this roadtrip" said Yvon Pedneault. Alex Kovalev ties the game on a delayed penalty. Grabovski provoqued a penalty, Giguere tried to cover his shot but instead, Mikhail made a pass and Kovy gets his 30th goal of the season. Before that, 21 seconds in the game, Todd Marchant gets a goal that went over the net and fell on Carey's back. 11-5 shots for Anaheim. stressed
2nd Intermission: This really isn't the referees' week. Okay, onto the game. It's still tied at one. It has been the Carey Price and J-S Giguere Show. Both are making amazing saves. The only goals allowed by these goaltenders are unlucky ones. This would be a good 5 on 5 game if Montreal didn't get all of these undisciplined penalties.
Final:Montreal ends this roadtrip with a 3-1 Lost against Anaheim. Bad defense led to the Ducks second and third goals. Giguere and Price deserved to win. Mikhail Grabovski has played well. This lost kinda proves that we are able to resist the Western offence, for a while. Tomas Plekanec was absent from this game because of a sickness. We tied the roadtrip so it's 2-2-0-0 against San Jose, Pheonix, Los Angeles and Anaheim.
