She arrives at the party, all dressed up and ready to impress the crowd.
It was to be a costume party so Lynn was dressed in her Father's finest from when he was her age. She was going as a dashing gentleman and she was going to play the part down to the letter. But when Lynn entered the doorway of the house where the party was held, everyone was dressed normally. The hostess, Ms. Maria Imabicht, had changed her mind at the last moment and decided that a proper party was to be formal dress. Lynn, who was very angry, just smiled and went in.
She fooled everyone there except Maria, who was angry herself because her plan to upset Lynn and send her home crying had failed miserably.
