Ello!
The Life of Sadira Lekenda-Rontesk
Once upon a time in the deep in a forest of London, England there was a chase. A chase that would change my life. This story is about my life as 11 year old Sadira Lekenda- Rontesk. Let us begin. “Run faster Sadira (Sa-deer-a)!”Screamed mother. The problem in doing so though was I was already running as fast as I could. Then father yelled “Hurry they’re getti…..This unfinished sentence was followed by a bloodcurdling shriek that stopped me in my tracks. I turned around to see father trying to fight of one of the assassins.
I tried to run over and help him but this act was stopped when mother said “NO RUN SADIRA NOW! I’ll help him you just RUN!” So I took one more look at mother and fathers tear streamed faces and ran. I ran and ran occasionally stumbling over rocks until I reached the beach. Then I dropped to my knees and began to cry. To cry for my parents, to cry for the scrapes and cuts, to cry for the blisters on my feet, but most of all to cry for my life. Eventually I got up and began to think about food and shelter; after all I was going to be there for awhile.
Ah Ha there’s an idea FISHING! So I sharpen a rock and tied a rock odd looking stick. Now comes for the hard part, the actual fishing. Throw, pick up, nothing.4hours later it was getting dark and I had caught 6 fish so I decided to light a fire and cook. It took a little blood and arm strength to hold the fish over the fire for 3hours but fish sure was good.
The next day I woke up at the crack of dawn, fished for 10 more fish, and then I stuffed some shells and rocks in one. Then I headed to the forest because beyond that lay the city. One good look at that beach and of I went. The forest was very beautifully colored, butterflies everywhere. Every now and then I’d see an exotic bird or flower. Then the beauty started to leave as I advanced in the forest. No more birds or butterflies, even the plants looked droopy. Then I saw it, something was wrong very, very wrong.
Oh no it was my parents! I stared and stared at their rotting bodies and blood stained shirts. How horrible I couldn’t decide to go on or to stay and die like them. Both seemed terrible fates. Wait, I know they would want me to live so therefore I would live for them. Just then 2 assassins jumped out of the bushes and on to me! One on my back gripping my hands was the most calm “Give up the money and we will let you go.” said the one with the sky blue eyes in to calm a voice
“What money?” I asked in a panicky voice. I tried to wiggle out of sky blue eyes guy grip only forcing him to grip tighter. “The money your parents, Mrs. and Mr. Rontesk stole.” “Aren’t their daughter Sadira Rontesk?” said one with dark brown almost black eyes. “No, N-n-no my last name is Lekenda my parents are d-d-d-dead.” I said getting very nervous. Sky blue eyes guy picked my mothers body up by the hair getting rather furious and said “Is this your mom child?” “Yes and the other’s my d-dad” said I
“Then you are Sadira Rontesk” said the brown eyed guy. “No” I said quietly sensing the brown eyed guy’s anger. “Oh, I get it they must have changed their name to slide past us.” “Come with us little girl” said the blue eyed guy. “NOOOOO!”I screamed and began to run again. Both men began to chase her yelling “STOP!” They ran and ran until poor Sadira bumped into a tree and was knocked unconscious.
“GIRL, GIRL……SADIRA WAKE UP” yelled an unknown voice. I slowly opened then closed slightly then again opened m eyes. “No, leave me alone go away.” I tried to shout but instead whispered rather. “GIRL GET UP” the …unknown girl voice yelled. She was rather chubby and wore a nurse’s hat. “Them assassins have some questionin’ for you girl. Go to the 7th door to the left.
Scared of the executer looking nurse I literally fell out of the bed and limped to the 7th room. Inside were the 2 assassins but without the hood part of there black suits on. “I'm Carl and this is Augustus and we need you to answer some questions.” said brown eyed guy. I quickly nodded still afraid of them. “First do you know where your parents hid the money?” “What money are you talking about?” I said getting frustrated from not knowing anything. Augustus took a deep breath and said “I guess you didn’t know, your parents were…..robbers”
“My b-bu parents r-r-robbers mine?” I chocked out the words still in shock
“Yes they have been wanted for…..several years” said Carl. So that’s why we were always moving I thought. Why we had to run that day from the house to here. I immediately broke into sobs of pain and suffering. “No! My parents were good people!” I exclaimed. “Look we don’t have t…..” “No!”
“No.” I said more quietly. Then I pushed the door open and limped away. Nobody screaming “STOP!” or anything just me leaving. Why, because they just thought I needed to be alone, well until they heard a car start. I would’ve run if it wasn’t for my leg probably could have made it. But instead after 10min. of them chasing me I had driven the car into a tree. So I was forced to run through the pain. By the time I got to the city my leg was red and swollen and I was crying with pain.
A lady saw my leg and tears and walked over. “Aw look at you come on let’s go into my house and I’ll fix you up.” She said. “No, I don’t want to move, it hurts.” I said. “Jolly good then I’ll carry you.” So with that she picked me up and carried me to her home with no fuss from me. When we were there I said “Thank you Miss.” Though she was to busy planning were I should sleep.
“Ahh, you shall sleep in the attic until better room is found. By the way my name is Matilda.” She said. “No mam sorry but I can’t stay I'm on the run you see.” I said then began to tell her my story. At the end she said “My, my a little girl such as you?” “Now you must stay!” “No! They’ll find me! I said.
“Don’t worry I’ll have your hair dyed, get you contacts, and new clothes.” “I will NOT allow you to leave nor get caught.” Knock, Knock! That was the door. “Oh no, go hid upstairs in the bathroom on the right!” she said. “Yes mam” I said as I slowly walked upstairs. When up I could make out “Sadira Rontesk, here, wanted, dead, are you, sure, search, and NO! Then footsteps, I began to worry.
Finally the door opened and “Sadira the coast is clear you are safe.” Said she. That one sentence was the beginning of a new a life, a new future, new parents. Soon after we went shopping for the new me. I was going to be part of a new family! Happy ending, right?
Or wrong?
